Not only do we provide a fun way to gain technical skills, but we also provide pathways for you to gain badges from leading organizations such as Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, Cisco, Unity, Apple, and more. The more certifications and badges on your resume, and LinkedIn profile, the better chance you will be noticed by employers! The education section on your resume should be as unique as you are and our certificates are the ultimate way to display the customized skills you have earned through actual hands-on experience via XED platforms. Badges are also verifiable to anyone who clicks on them.

Yes! The flexibility in our courses and programs allow for you to decide your pace, schedule, and even device. Whether you work part-time or full-time is up to you.

The only requirement is that you complete all the 40-hour courses within the one-year period. Unless it is a stand-alone course, our programs may have from two to five courses within the program. See program descriptions for details.

· Unlike other online courses, where you only read articles and PowerPoints, with OCC, you will attain practical skills using hands-on, real-world practice that provide you with experience and confidence in your chosen field!

· Not only will you receive a course or program certificate from OCC, but you also have the opportunity to gain a second course certificate directly from Certiport that also comes with a verifiable badge upon completing the Certiport exam. It is up to you how many of your certifications you list on your resume or post on your LinkedIn profile. Badges also look great on a professional email signature.

· You have one year of access to the learning platforms (XED and GMetrix), which lead you through your learning and resources such as videos, E-Books and Quick-Clips are there for your reference and understanding. The lessons, tests, and projects can be completed more than once within your year, to help reinforce your new skills.

· OCC tests are provided at the end of each course for no extra cost, using a platform called GMetrix. These exams are counted highly towards your mark to determine your overall grade. Learners receive an OCC certificate upon successful completion.

· Registering for a Certiport exam is recommended at the end of your course. Upon successful completion, learners attain a verifiable badge that looks great on a resume, email signature, and LinkedIn portfolio. Those who click on the badge would see your name, date received and significance.

Note: The courseware and platforms used during the course align with the same Certiport exam objectives. Even the look and navigation to the testing platforms (Certiport and GMetrix) are similar.

· For the foreseeable future, we prefer to keep tuition costs low by relying on self-driven, interactive learning platforms XED and GMetrix only. We are confident that learners who use resources including videos, e-books and more won’t have trouble completing lessons. Grading is automatic, and we encourage learners to re-do lessons and increase their understanding and overall mark. When it comes time to complete the test or exam you will meet with an invigilator (online) at a time that works for you.

XED is an ‘In-App’ learning platform that is easy to install on PC’s, Macs, and Chromebooks. OCC will email instructions and host a first week orientation on Zoom, how to get started on the XED learning platform. Any questions can be directed by email to OCC. We are very confident that learners will have an enjoyable and trouble- free experience when using the platforms.

The OCC is pleased to be an Authorized Testing Center for our partner organization, Certiport. Many of our clients already have received skills training but have yet to complete their final exam that would provide their official accreditation to gain global recognition. So, whether a client takes an exam after taking a course with OCC, or outside of OCC, we can help if they complete our booking form and provide the dates they are available to take one of the many Certiport exams we proctor.

There are 75+ Certiport exams that you can choose from on our website. However, we don’t have all courses currently available on the XED learning platform. Courses are always being developed for XED and added each year to meet the needs of our learners.
