Intuit Exams

Upon reviewing the exam details on this page, we suggest noting which exams you are ready to register and which exams you may want to first enroll in a course or practice test.  Any exam requires a minimum achievement of 70% to receive a certificate from Intuit and your employer verifiable badge. Viewing exam objectives helps determine exam readiness.

Cisco exams are priced at $149.00 each and includes the proctor fee. Your exam will be scheduled according to your availability when registering.

QuickBooks

QuickBooks Certified User
Exam

The Intuit QuickBooks Online Certified User  (QBOCU) certification is an industry-recognized credential that validates one’s skills in using the Intuit QuickBooks Online accounting software. It is designed for students who are learning to use and master the QuickBooks Online software as part of their accounting, finance, entrepreneurship or business class. The certification is proof they have acquired the knowledge and skills to effectively use the Intuit QuickBooks Online software within a business environment whether they choose to open their own business or work for an employer. The software is free for educators and students and can be downloaded here
The Intuit QuickBooks Online Certified User exam is suited for students, entrepreneurs, job seekers, and individuals interested in validating their skills in the Intuit QuickBooks Online software. 

Please note that Intuit frequently updates the QuickBooks Online interface, which may affect how features and options are presented.

The Intuit Certified Bookkeeping Professional certification validates foundational bookkeeping and accounting knowledge, essential for careers in finance, accounting, and business.

Exam

Financial literacy is not just an academic subject, it is a life skill. In today’s complex financial world, the ability to make informed money decisions impacts both short term stability and long term well being. Yet, too many individuals lack this critical knowledge. That is where the Intuit Personal Finance certification comes in. This exam tests individuals on their existing money management skills.

This content focuses on terms and processes for citizens of the United States only.

​

For this exam, please expect  approximately 40 questions to complete within 50 minutes.

1. Earning income

  1. Interpret the details of a pay stub.

  2. Identify factors used when filing taxes.

  4. Demonstrate budgeting skills.

  5. Compare costs of major product purchases.

3. Saving

  1. Identify short-term and long-term financial goals.

  2. Identify features of consumer banking.

  3. Compare features of account types

4. Investing

  1. Identify the relationship between risk and return including, but not limited

  2. to, financial risk tolerance, financial risk pyramid, and diversification.

  3. Compare different investment types including, but not limited to, stocks,

  4. bonds (corporate vs. government), mutual funds, Exchange Traded Funds

  5. (ETF), real estate, commodities, digital currency, and collectibles.

  6. Identify investment costs and/or income types including, but not limited to,

  7. dividends, capital gains, and interest.

5. Managing Credit

  1. Compare different types of lending.

  2. Identify ways of managing credit and credit scores.

  3. Identify options for managing debt.

6. Managing Risk

  1. Identify types of insurance (shared risk) including only auto insurance, health/dental/vision insurance, whole vs. term life insurance, home/renters insurance, short-term and long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment.

  2. Identify factors that impact the costs of insurance including, but not limited to, premiums, deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket maximums.

Design for Delight Innovator
Exam

The Intuit Design for Delight Innovator certification validates knowledge of design thinking principles and the tools needed to identify problems, gain customer empathy, brainstorm solutions, run experiments, test assumptions, and pivot when necessary. This approach promotes creativity, critical thinking, and complex problem solving which are skills highly valued in today’s workforce.
